About Dr. Valentine
I was born in Bogalusa, LA to Godly parents who were followers of Jesus Christ and dedicated to His church. My family and I were active members of Calvary Baptist Church. Our home was located four blocks from the church and in the summer and spring we walked. During our walks, I can still remember talking and laughing with my parents, enjoying their company. Our home was warm loving, a place where the Bible was taught and prayer was the rule rather than the exception. Before accepting Jesus as my personal savior, I was aware of His love for me, however, at the age of seven on a Sunday night, God's Spirit convicted me of my sin and drew me into a public profession of faith. Little did I realize how my life was going to change that night. I was saved! A child of the King of Glory! That night began what would be an exciting journey. That night may have just been another ordinary Sunday night to many that were attending, but for me...it was miraculous. That night still burns in my heart and brings peace and reassurance whenever I face the storms of life. My life as a Christian became involved with bringing the lost to faith in Jesus Christ. As a young boy, I became a witness for Him! As a result, many of my friends came to know the love of God. The commitment I made along with the counsel of Godly people, I dedicated my life to Spiritual Service. The more I am involved with the people and the more I study God's Word, I discover that people are hurting and need the support of those maturing in the Word. I have learned two great principles in life: 1. To develop a heart that is humble toward the Lord, and 2. Be found faithful serving and ministering to all humanity upon his return. I believe God has given me not only the gifts of evangelism, preaching, and teaching...but also the special gift of encouragement. I cannot visualize a better place to utilize these gifts than to those who feel abandoned by their own deeds or the actions of a Godless Society.
